What an amazing day! I had such a wonderful time with Avedis & Aprylle’s wonderful families. Such an honor to work with another couple in the same family-just two years ago I was honored to photograph Av’s sister Ana’s wedding to Zavin.
But back to Av & Aprylles story!
It was a perfect November day and I am SO GLAD that they took my suggestion and we did portraits on the front stairs of St. Sarkis (the church). The setting sun provided this amazing light that allowed me to create some phenomenal portraits of the happy couple and their families. I LOVE these portraits so much!! Thanks for being willing to try anything and trusting my judgment-it was so refreshing to have such complete and total trust in my work. Thank you!!!
There are so many things that I loved about their wedding-from the getting ready in their utterly fantastic loft with spectacular light (designed with artists in mind I think!) to Aprylle’s shoes-I ADORE those shoes!! So so beautifully classic and yet modern. Beautiful, just like you Aprylle!!! You look so amazing and you did such a brilliant job with your makeup. You look simply flawless!
I have so much to share and so many favorite pictures so here’s just a tiny peek into their perfect day! I had such a hard time picking photos. Somehow I was drawn to their traditional Armenian ceremony so it’s a little more ceremony & portrait heavy than usual. Bigger re-cap to come as there are so many great shots!!!
Aprylle is an amazing artist in her own right too–she does these FABULOUS wedding portrait paintings. Just gorgeous! I can’t wait to see her own
