It’s the the question most asked after an order is placed so I thought it was time to go over the process from start to finish so you can get an idea of how it works.
Here’s what goes into EVERY print, step by step:
Day One
1) You place your order: online, via email, by phone or by mail
2) We receive your order
3) We carefully review your order to make sure we have all the info we need & your order is entered into the studio workflow {Remember, we do have other clients & orders and they are taken care of in the order they are received}
Day Two
4) Images are pulled from their stable location
Day Three
5) Images are refined & retouched (level depends on the type of print ordered AND your editing preferences)
6) Images are fine-tuned and prepped for printing
Days 4-11
7) Images are delivered to the lab for professional printing on archival papers (guaranteed to last 100+ years in proper storage!)
Images are shipped & delivered to us for review
Days 11-15
9) Prints are carefully inspected. If anything is wrong, they are re-ordered and returned to the lab. This rarely happens. 
10) Prints are packaged in our signature packaging (so pretty! It’s like getting a present)
11) Completed order is labeled & shipped out to you OR pick-up is scheduled.
The entire process takes 11-15 business days as the lab is only open Monday-Thursday and shipping only occurs Monday-Friday.
If the lab has a light load, it *can* take even less time so occasionally you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find your lovely order in as little as 7 days!
Jewelry & custom items do have a longer lead time so make sure to order them well in advance of any events or gift giving dates.
I hope this gives you a little insight into the work that happens behind the scenes when you place your order. There are a million tiny steps in between each of those, but that’s a good quick overview of everything we do when you place your print order.
