What a splendid afternoon it was when I photographed David & Kayla!
Perfect, yummy golden sunshine–just heavenly light. I’m so glad they opted to shoot in the evening when the light is so dreamy.
David & Kayla are such a wonderful couple together and it was so much fun to see them warm up in front of the camera and let their unique love for each other shine through. They are simply the perfect compliment to one another. The way that David looks so adoringly at Kayla and is so thoughtful of her is just amazing. And the way that Kayla laughs, smiling from ear to ear and how deeply beautiful her eyes are–delightful! Together, there was lots of laughter mixed with sweet love–all in all, the perfect mix for a perfect afternoon.
I’m so grateful that they have chosen me to photograph their 2010 destination wedding in Jamaica–all the more so because David is my brother in law and Kayla soon to be my sister. 
I’m so happy for the two of them and I can’t wait to share in their celebration. It means so much to me that they would pick me because I always tell friends & family to still do their homework and look around–it won’t hurt my feelings if they go with someone else because I still get to share in the event as family. Even so, I feel doubly blessed that I will get to do the thing I love {take pictures!} while they profess their love!
